Question 1: What solution is adopted for the Managed Industrial Switches product? Normally what do managed switches do?
Among the Managed Industrial Switches launched by Rayin Technology, the main product uses the ETLCHIP ETLX810/ETLX812 solution. The ETLX810MR is a 13-port three-layer 10 Gigabit Ethernet switching chip, with 8 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, 2 10G SerDes interfaces, and 2 5G SerDes interfaces. It has an internal RISC 32-bit CPU and the product supports PTP and TSN protocols. The ETLX812 solution only supports 4 Gigabit SFP optical ports.
Rayin Technology managed industrial network switches allow users to configure, monitor and control each network port independently. They support advanced functions including VLAN, QoS, port aggregation, fault alarm and link redundancy. Widely used in power, new energy and industrial sites, they deliver stable, secure and manageable data transmission compared with unmanaged switches.
Question 2: Do the optical ports also support 100M?
The chip does not intergrate this feature, but it can extend PHY to support 100M Gigabyte. The chip does not integrate a 100Mbps physical layer transceiver. Port expansion can be achieved by connecting an independent 100Mbps PHY chip externally, enabling support for both 100M and 1000M adaptive rates, which may affect managed switch price of managed industrial network switch. Currently, the main product of Rayin Technology has not been expanded 100M feature.
Question 3: What is the maximum operating temperature?
The standard operating temperature range for Rayin Technology industrial switches is -40℃ to 75℃. The entire device has undergone rigorous industrial quality certification, ensuring stable and reliable product performance and batch consistency. When the environmental temperature exceeds 75℃, the equipment will not immediately stop working . However, it may result in the loss of long-term stability, reliability, and service life of the product. It is not recommended to use the equipment at an overheated temperature.
Question 4: Does the product support the PTP?
Rayin technology’s Managed Industrial Switches is equipped with hardware timestamp, fully supports the IEEE 1588 V2(PTP)which can be configured to multiple working patterns, and achieve sub-microsecond level network clock synchronization. In contrast, the PTP can effectively eliminate the error of the delay of the message forwarding, suitable for intelligent factory, the power distribution network, and the rail traffic.
Question 5: what are the otherfunctions of the product?
First, the product can configure 1 relay alarm contact, and when the link interrupts and the power failure occur, the relay immediately outputs the switch signal, which is convenient for the on-site traffic personnel to find the problem in time and shorten the fault location time. The hardware DIP switch pre-set a number of factory functions, can switch parameters according to the scene situation, and can quickly complete the on-site debugging.
