Key considerations for the protection design of industrial-grade ONUs:
Wide temperature tolerance: It adopts wide temperature components (-40℃~+70℃/85℃) + fanless heat dissipation design, which is suitable for high and low temperature industrial scenarios;
Dustproof/Protection Rating: The enclosure meets IP40 or higher (dustproof and protection against solid foreign objects), and supports IP54 (splashproof) in some extreme scenarios;
Hardware anti-interference: Common-mode inductors and ferrite beads are added to key signal circuits, and filter capacitors are added to the power supply module to reduce electromagnetic radiation/conduction interference;
Lightning protection: The network port/power port has a built-in TVS diode and surge protection chip, supporting common mode 6kV / differential mode 1.5kV surge protection (outdoor scenarios);
Surge/overvoltage protection: Surge protection diodes and PTC resettable fuses are added to the power supply circuit to prevent voltage fluctuations from damaging the equipment;
Reverse polarity protection: The power interface is designed with a reverse polarity protection circuit to prevent the device from burning out due to incorrect power polarity connection.
